Digg Redesign Launched
September 22, 2005
Digg.com is a "technology news website that combines social bookmarking, blogging, RSS, and non-hierarchical editorial control." Buzzwords aside, it's a great place to find technology links and news where members take editorial control.

The Digg team knew they had a great site with enormous potential on their hands, but they weren't quite happy with the visual style of the interface. Earlier this year silverorange was contacted by Kevin Rose, Digg's founder, to help improve the visual interface of the Digg website.

Silverorange developed a friendly visual style that could be applied through the website. Our team created the HTML, CSS, and images required and worked with the Digg.com development team as they implemented the new style.

As the Digg website and community continues to grow, silverorange is working with the Digg development team to refine and improve the interface. In addition to having fun working on the project, we've also gotten hooked on reading Digg.com everyday.
