Canadian Starmaker fund
A Web Portal to Deliver Funding to Canadian Musicians
With the Canadian Starmaker Fund we’ve designed, developed, and maintained a web-based portal to distribute over $170 million to Canadian musicians for over 25 years.
Scope
This multi-phase project with 2 designers and 4 developers spanned 18-months. (And that doesn’t include maintaining the old site for 25 years!)
Technology
React Web front-end with a back-end build with Express.js on Node, connecting to a PostgreSQL database via Postgraphile, deployed on AWS.

Connecting Families - Familles branchées
A Portal to Help Canadians Access Affordable Internet
Together with the Government of Canada and Computers For Success Canada (CFSC), we developed a secure online bilingual portal to help low-income families access affordable internet.
Scope
Over 8 months, our design & project leads and tech team conducted accessibility research, user testing, and development followed by ongoing support.
Technology
React Web and Express.js on Node, connecting to a PostgreSQL, with reporting tools based on Grafana, managed on AWS with Terraform and Ansible.

Kindsight
Interface Design for Fundraising Intelligence Products
We provide Kindsight with design services for their fundraising intelligence products for universities and non-profits. Services include user testing, accessibility audits, prototyping, and interface design.
Scope
We’ve been providing senior-level design expertise to Kindsight for over 7 years, with two senior designers working across a variety of products.
Technology
Our design team uses Figma for designs and prototypes, and works with the Lightning Design System 2 for Kindsight’s Salesforce-based products.
